Crash on desktop in startup

Hello, for some reason KOTC suddenly starts to CTD when I try to launch it, it opens the window which is black, and then suddenly just closes itself and I have to unistall and re-install again. Any idea what might cause that?

Hello there, I guess a missing file could do that. Did re-installing fix the problem?

Yes it did, could it be because I moved the saves while the game was running, and then exit the game?

I'm not sure. I guess that could be the reason.
