It seems that zombies absorb blunt weapons, but not slashing ones. This is the opposite of what the feat says?
Also, the spiders kept absorbing things as well. Should they be doing this? I only have normal/masterwork weapons.

Yes that is normal behaviour. Zombies have damage reduction 5/slashing, meaning you need to use a slashing weapon against them. Spiders have DR too. Please check their "Feats and abilities" page to know what can bypass the DR.

Yeah, it's my fault. I misunderstood the way the page displays it. It wasn't until the Vampire encounter that I realised:

Damage Reduction (10)/Silver

meant : DR to _everything_ except silver. To me it reads as DR to silver weapons. So when I saw DR/magic, or whatever spiders have, I thought they were resistant against magic, not weak to it.

Hopefully this is the correct save. You should be in the mountain tunnels, inbetween the two exit stairs. Press 2 on the keypa twice -> crash.
Click on the stairs -> no crash.

With this save, approach the city guard and they start attacking each other/the party.

The Taneliz issue where the guards attack each other is still occurring in version 1.08. In addition, some of the guards can not be attacked. This appears to only be happening near the front gate to the town...I can wander around the rest of the town and not be attacked.

Just confirmed that it happens in version 1.09 as well. Attached is the save game where this is occuring

Thank you for the save game, I will look into it.
If you reached Taneliz using one of the earlier versions of the game that may explain why the problem is still there in your save.

Edit: you were right, I've seen the problem and it will be fixed in the next update.
