Favorite spell?

What are you folks' favorite spells in the game so far?

Mine is glitterdust. It's low level so you can cast it a bunch. It lowers its (multiple) targets' attack, defense, and speed. It lasts forever at higher caster levels. It bypasses SR and works on a lot of different enemies, including undead. Even though the spell level (and thus DC) is low, I've found most guys I'd want to blind have low willpower anyway. On top of all that, it can get rid of invisibility, which can be annoying to deal with. Its one downside is that it doesn't do enough vs. distant casters.

Glitterdust, for the reasons you have given. Haste works well against everything and doesn't need to succeed on a save. Dominate Monster gets three attempts to convert most creatures. And Irresistible Dance... guaranteed to work provided you succed on a touch attack.

I've had too much satisfied vengeance with Empowered Cone of Cold to pick anything else really....Firestorm to a general similar extend on the Cleric side.

I like those summon Elemental spells and sound burst.

Web plus polymorph into a spider is a fun little combo.

The animation for this is pretty hilarious.

In TOEE, my favourite spells were Grease, Glitterdust and Stinking Cloud. They work great together with Spell Focus Conjuration and Greater Spell Focus Conjuration. This combination also works in KOTC (minus Grease).

Finger of Death. Granted I haven't acquired it in this game yet, but I imagine I will enjoy it nonetheless. There's just something stylish about a wizard casually pointing at an oncoming orc and watching it topple over dead.
