5th edition?

Postby deathknight1728 » Tue Jan 10, 2012 10:03 pm

Ive been hearing rumors that 5th edition for d and d might be in the works. What do you all think about that? I personally think that from 3rd edition on, its gone to be much more simplified. Luckily with new d and d, there is much less of a learning curve compared when i first came across it. When i first played some of the crpg d and d based video games, i got destroyed as i had no idea what i was doing. From 3rd edition on, its much more simpler to figure out and classes each have their perks. 2nd edition was too pro fighter and mage and thieves were horrible. Does anyone else hear anything about 5th edition?

A few websites have mentioned that the new edition will allow to play using the rules of any of the past D&D rulesets.
If it is true then maybe the 5th-edition material will be easy to adapt to 3.5 or pathfinder.
