"you have scroll" while learning spell in levelup : which?

Hi,
I have a question (with 4 subdivisions) about that mention which is really useful when you level up a cleric/mage/druid or other classes of that genre.
1 Is that information given only to the scroll in your inventory?
2 Or that, but also from the scrolls in the bags/chests you have in your inventory?
3 Or 1 or 1+2 and also from the scrolls in the inventory of your teammeates?
4 Or 1+2+3 and also from the scrolls in the bags/chests your teammates have in their inventory?

My personal impression is 1 only.

I personally would like, quality of life style, 4.

I did check and the game does number 4 (it checks the complete inventory of all of the party members). Cheers
