Where to after the orc stockade?

I've been out of town for a couple months, and the last thing I remember finishing in the game was the orc stockade. Got some documents apparently granting access to Taneliz and so forth. It looks like Taneliz is inaccessible at the moment, but, perhaps the mountain pass leads to it based on an inspection of the overland map? Feel free to post spoilers and any other advice. Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to getting back into this really enjoyable game.
