I saw that, and yes ... summoner is pretty juicy. I'd love for us to reach that goal! If we did, I'd replace my psionicist with a summoner. :-p

But then that means the Spell Weaver would be funded as well. And frankly ... that'd be a tough choice. On the fly metamagic is powerful, even if he'll be limited to 7th level spells.

My party is more traditional - Fighter Drake, Kobold Rogue, Dwarf Cleric, Elf Red Wizard, Human Death knight and Mantis Water Druid

Even if we reach all the goals you won't be able to get a summoner or a spellweaver. They will only be available on later modules not the one coming next week.

Ahhh ...

It'd be great if they did get funded, though. I bet they could be added into the base game once they are created. :-)

Your party looks effective. Your rogue, in particular ... he'll be fun. Dual-wielding, plus a bite attack means a lot of sneak attacks! And fighters get so many feats. I seriously considered one instead of a monk, but I like the idea of a cracked out mantis running across the battlefield in a blur.

FIGHTER Half Salamander Monk (does the 1d6 fire damage stack with each and all the flurry attacks - if so, yes please!)
Yup, the damage stacks with a monk's flurry.

I bet they could be added into the base game once they are created.
Yes, the new classes would be made available in Augury of Chaos once they're ready. Spell Weaver is not very complicated to implement, so it has a good chance of being implemented even if that goal isn't reached. But of course it will take time.

Fighter Drake is an awesome choice. :)

Sweet! :-D Thanks for the reply. That's awesome. Though it means I'd just have harder choices to make ... lol

So a half giant / dwarf with heavy armor movement speed is 10? is that correct? sounds unplayable to me

It may sound like the speed would be a problem for them, but you can just give them the Boots of Striding for +10 to Speed, or the Boots of Haste for a continuous Haste effect.

Also, if your character is a Samurai, then you get the Samurai Armour special ability: ''Samurais gain the feats Armour Reflex and Improved Armour Reflex for free at level 1. In addition, Samurais ignore the speed penalty from wearing medium or heavy armour.''

If your character is a Death Knight, you get speed increases at level 9, 14 and 18. Cheers! :)

I see. Hope those boots are not super rare then!

Well everyone mention race/class combo but not the sex of the character. I was a bit surprised but the sex choice does affect your stats on character creation. ( I wish it didn't to be honest )

The question is are those stats the only difference? or does the sex of the character affects other things in the game? for example are there items or dialog choices that are for female/male only?

Hello rpgguy! :-)

The character's gender does not affect items or dialogue choices in KotC 2 Augury of Chaos. It does affect the voice-snippet playback.

In the upcoming adventure modules, it's likely that there will be a number of dialogues where your gender is taken into account, resulting in a different dialogue or different dialogue options.

Thank you! Best regards :-)
