1.13 fog cloak not working?

Hi,

This cloak says that it allows to see through fogs.

My character still can't shoot through the fog...

Hello LordSith, thank you for posting.

Normally, the Fog Cloak allows you to shoot at targets affected by Acid Fog.

However, if your character herself is affected by the Acid Fog, I don't think that she should be able to shoot at all.

That's because the Fog Cloak does not allow you to avoid movement penalties from being in a Solid Fog or Acid Fog. So I think that the arrow would not be able to fly away.

Whereas, an arrow shot from outside the fog could reach its target because the arrow is flying fast enough.

Now, if your character was not affected by Acid Fog, then that's a bug. I will have a look, just in case. Cheers

Ah then there is no bug. But i think the fog cloakd description is misleading then because it does seem as it would apply.

Maybe add something clarifying that it is the (what i find less useful) target which can be in a fog, not the wearer (which is the only appliable situation since the enemy loves to use acid fog on my packed characters). Edit: i had that idea and used another cloak after this first post here, so i guess i was right by not using this cloak anymore and better use a SR cloak instead .

Thank you for your message. Okay, I will modify the entry with this line: The character can shoot at targets affected by Solid Fog or Acid Fog. However, note that in order to shoot, the character himself or herself must not be affected by the Solid Fog or Acid Fog. Cheers!
